Bridal Runway Trends to follow on a Desi-Wedding

Written by

What it is about an extraordinary wedding dress that makes your head turn and heart pound? What about a flattering look on that big day? Definitely it is an extraordinary feeling. But to wear those flattering looks you must look into "what's trending"?

The latest runway trends we saw at Bridal Couture Week QHBCW by Hum TV was all about exaggerated cuts, prominent waistlines, and breezy silhouettes. We also saw a couple of classical lehenga cholis but what's trending is the hottest deal. When it is all about Pakistani fashion and trends, lady in red would definitely love to guide the readers . . . Let's talk about those trends one by one.

1: Cinched Waist

The hourglass figure is back in style as we saw a couple of looks at QHBCW. Form fitted dresses and belts on different ensembles create that cinched waist to look thinner. You can even achieve that look with breezy and baggy dresses by adding a fabric belt or a leather one, whatever twist you like.

2: Luxurious Flare Bottoms

These are easy to flatter and are universally accepted. If you are a sister, cousin or a friend of the bride, you can opt for this trend in her wedding. You can also wear it as a challenge to show your long legs. Secondly Luxurious bottoms with loads of embellishment make you look more prominent.

3: Ghararas

It's time to say no to Lehenga Choli as we have spotted the burgeoning ghararas trend on the runway.  It's far more trendy and easy to flaunt with different styles of tops. You can opt for those ghararas on mehndi or on baarat, as you like.

4: High-Low Flare

Tea length dresses are not so easy to style and hard to pull off. Another discomfort is when you want to imitate for a longer length. But what about a high-low flare that offers a full skirted feel and show off your bottoms and stilettos.

5: Peplum Tops

A single ruffle of the fabric that flares from waist and sits over the rest of the silhouette with variable lengths, flawlessly disguise the waist to achieve a slimmer look. Many designers follow this trend fabulously to keep the ensemble trendy. Why not you?

6: Shawls

Its winter and shawls are a must. But when you think about wedding many will definitely say "No to shawls". Aside this fact, QHBCW showcased a lot of shawls that looked flattering on the runway. Velvet, embroidered or embellished ones, they add oomph to your bridal dress.

Hope this smart guide will help you a lot on your big day ! Keep in touch . . .
