Trend summer 2013 - Asymmetric Prints

Written by  Saturday, 03 August 2013 00:00

Yesterday i wore a Sana Safinaz asymmetric print summer dress with a neckline and border at front and striped back. This is exactly what the asymmetric print trend is all about. The most powerful asymmetric print and textures are introduced by Derek Lam, a foreigner designer.

Not only the print but asymmetry is evident in designs and colors too. You can even do it with different colored front and back of the shirt following the asymmetric and color blocked trend at the same time. Asymmetry is the powerful feature in fashion this year.

Remember, while wearing this trend;

  • Don't overdo it, if you wear asymmetric shirt then you should wear a plain trouser, otherwise your outfit looks clumsy.
  • Secondly while choosing accessories remember those are simple colored one, without any print. If you prefer print then it must be textured one not the floral or tribal one.
  • Similar is the case with the shoes, don't choose a floral one, choose some colored block or single colored shoe. Color blocked look perfect with your asymmetric dress.
